JBF Featured Athlete – Sara Jones

I have been participating in GORUCK events since January 2020. When I started I was overweight, anxious, depressed and starting life over from scratch… again…But there is nothing more inspiring than having Joe Baker run up behind you while scaling a hill and whispering “this is where winners are made…”

I have been training with Joe Baker since November 2020. He has helped me train for and I have completed 2 HTB’s (including Bragg Heavy), a Double Heavy (HH) and 47 other Tough/Lights. He has encouraged me, trained with me and pushed me to find my inner endurance athlete. Each time I set a goal, he pushes me harder and further than I would have ever done alone. He has changed my eating habits, and thanks to Joe Baker Fitness, I have sustained a 127 pound weigh loss.

In addition, he continually checks in on me, encourages me and reminds me of the progress I’ve made, when I am unsure of myself. Joe is an incredible trainer and thanks to him; I am taking on the Rucking World Championship 50 miler and Team Assessment.
